		<description>The PreUpgrade looks promising. But why does the actual upgrade of the rpms happen during a reboot and not while running the current system. 

With PreUpgrade you can&#039;t use your system during the upgrade (which can take several minutes), with the yum upgrade the system can be used during the complete process, except a normal reboot at the end.

Please correct me if I&#039;m wrong.</description>
